Darkest Before Dawn

In Exodus 7:3 God told Moses: “But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart that I may multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.”
This verse tells us that there are at least some occasions when God allows things to get worse — or even causes them to, as He said He did here — in order that He may show how great He is when He delivers us from the extremely desperate situation.

Some of us may need to apply that to our situations today. If things are getting worse, it just MAY mean that God is about to do something even greater than you had hoped — to the glory of His name. Like the old saying says, it is often darkest just before dawn!
