(No sermon videos are available at this time, since my retirement from full-time ministry in January 2025. Explore the Bible teaching videos may be seen each week on the home page of this blog.)
I'm a retired Southern Baptist pastor of almost 40 years. My wife Cheryl & I moved to Norman, OK in March of 2025. I share a weekly overview for Sunday School teachers of the weekly Lifeway "Explore the Bible" lesson, as well as texts of my sermons and other articles.

Was wondering where your Teacher’s overview of session 13, Micah 7:1-10; 18-20, was. They are always a big help to me. (Ron Hardt, Crossway Baptist Church, Springfield MO.
Ron I usually post the next week’s lesson at midnight on Saturday. It’s scheduled to come out tonight. Are you teaching it tomorrow?
No, I was trying to get a head start on lesson 13. I will be teaching it on 11/30. I really appreciate your input. You always have some really good insight . I don’t understand how you keep up with all that you are responsible for. Again thank you for all that you do.

Very good; I was going to try to get it to you somehow if you needed it for tomorrow. It will be out later tonight. And LOL honestly sometimes it is hard to remember which lesson we’re on and which is next week’s. I have to keep a good to-do list for sure! 😅 Thank you Ron. Praying for you as you prepare!
I’m trying, without success, to add my email to the blog to get weekly lesson updates. Could you please put me on your weekly list?
Do you have a sermon on John 20:19-29. Thanks
No sir I don’t yet. But I will post a Sunday school lesson overview of that passage for the Lifeway lesson of May 21, on Saturday night May 13 at 9:00, Lord willing.
God bless you for the tremendous support.
Yes sir; thank you for the positive feedback Gabriel!
Hey Shawn, Tulsa boy here transplanted to Shelbyville Illinois. Am I in the right spot to request outlines for Sunday School leaders? Listen, and appreciate your youtube guides. Seniors SS
Hi John! Cheryl & I served in Tulsa for 6 years, and my mom still lives there; we love it! Are you wanting to subscribe to the weekly blogs for the SS lesson? If so you need to go to my home page on your computer (sometimes it doesn’t show up on a phone) and look for the “Follow blog via email” blank and enter your email into it. I will try to do that for you, but sometimes it does not “take” when I try to do it myself. Let me know if you start getting it, or if we need to do something else to get it to you; I sure want you to have it each week. God bless you as you teach Sunday; I am praying for you!

Have you done a adult Sunday School on the book of Genesis, there” a lot out there on the end of day, I’m looking for a good teaching on the first 11 chapters of Genesis, if you don’t could show me where I might find a good lessens like yours on the first couple? great lesson, thnk you
Yes sir; if you scan back we actually just finished a study of Genesis. You should be able to search for the different passages on my YouTube home page. I hope some of those lessons may be helpful to you!
Thank you for your lesson overviews. I use them often as they really add additional thought, detail and suggestive discussion to my presentation. May God continue to bless you and use you in the spreading of His Word.
love your take on Mark10:28-30. Because what you shared is what was said back in the 80’s throughout the 90’s. I don’t hear it as much. This why I was seeking a better explanation for Mark 10:28-30. I knew what I was taught years ago was wrong. I just couldn’t get pass it. Thank you! Now do you have sermons or teaching resources that I can purchase. It’s been 7 yrs trying to find teaching that stays on track. Thanks again, R Bolosan
I’m grateful that the message ministered to you, Raelene. I do have a lot of sermons and resources here on my blog, though none are for sole. But if you will type a scripture passage or topic into the search bar on my blog home page, it will pull up any message I might have available. I hope that will help you!
Am happy with your lessons, will you please came kenya for the same message of sunday school.I will welcome you to my Church ministry.
