“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.'” (John 14:6)

This isn’t “just” a verse about Jesus being the only way to heaven — although it does indeed teach that. There could not be a stronger statement of the centrality of Jesus as everything we need, than in this verse: it says He is “the way, and the truth, and the life”.

— Do you want the truth? Jesus IS the truth! Organize your life around Him and what He says.

— Do you want real life? Jesus IS the life! Give your life to Him, and you will find life, both abundant (John 10:10) and eternal (John 3:16).

— Do you want the way to God & Heaven? Jesus IS that way! Trust & follow Him.

Jesus is not merely the “main character” of the Bible; He is everything we need: “the way, the truth, and the life”; the one great “pearl” for Whom it is worth selling all else to find (Matthew 13:46).
